Abstract

PURPOSE:To decrease the working process of a taper part, to improve forming accuracy, and to facilitate adjustment after inserting a device by bridging a member having the coefficient of thermal expansion different from that of a slider material and forming the prescribed-shaped taper part. CONSTITUTION:At the central part of a slider block 1, a head surface 4 and a slider surface 5 are formed on its upper surface, and on one side surface opposite in the longitudinal direction of the upper surface of the block 1, from the bottom surface of a groove 3, a notch part 6 with a constant width and a prescribed depth is formed. Thereafter, opposite to the notch part 6 formed at the lower surface side of the head surface 4 and the slider surface 5, a taper member 7 having the coefficient of thermal expansion different from that of a slider material 1 is bridged to each internal surface, the both edge parts of this member 7 and the internal surface of the notch part 6 are melted and stack with adhesives 8 at a prescribed temperature, and the taper member 7 is contracted by restoring the temperature to a normal temperature. Thus, the head surface 4 and the slider surface 5 are bent to the lower surface side, and each taper part 9 is formed.
