Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform a 3-dimensional spatial filtering processing at high speed with use of a 2-dimensional picture processing means by superimposing a 2-dimensional spatial filter on continuous fault images obtained from a tomographic image preparing device, performing a 2-dimensional picture adding to the obtained plural tomographic images, and obtaining the tomographic image. CONSTITUTION:After the continuous tomographic images obtained from a tomographic image preparing device 1 are stored into a magnetic disk device by a 2-dimensional picture storing means 2, a 2-dimensional spatial filtering is performed to the respective plural continuous images stored in the magnetic disk device by a 2-dimensional spatial filtering means 3. Thereafter, by performing the picture-adding to plural pictures by a 2-dimensional picture adding means 4, a single tomographic image, to which the 3-dimensional spatial filtering is performed, can be obtained. Further, a series of the processings are performed to all the tomographic images, and the 3-dimensional spatical filtering is realized. Thus, the 3-dimensional spatical filtering processing is attained at high speed by the 2-dimensional picture processing means.
