Abstract

PURPOSE:To always obtain a satisfactory image in a wide range of angle of visibility by dividing the orienting direction of a liquid crystal molecule into plural areas in one pixel, and setting different orienting directions in each area. CONSTITUTION:The orienting direction of the liquid crystal molecule is divided into the plural areas in one pixel, and different orienting directions are set in each of the areas. In other words, the orienting direction of the liquid crystal molecule is divided into the plural areas in one pixel 100, and the orienting direction is classified to two kinds such as A and B. In such a way, it is possible to obtain the satisfactory image in which no inversion of black and white is generated and without generating void on the whole of a picture in spite of the angle of visibility by averaging the whole parts in the whole of one pixel even when the inversion of black and white is generated at a certain part in an image or the void at a certain part.
