Abstract

PURPOSE:To generate no insulating weak points in the rectangular part of a conductor by inserting a spacer into a space between an insulator in said rectangular part and a metal mold or patch. CONSTITUTION:An insulator 2 is formed in a conductor 1, further wound by a mold release film tape 6 and vacuum pressure impregnated with epoxy, and two patches 4 each composed of L-shaped iron plate are further placed on said insulator 2. A mold release agent is baked on the surface of an iron plate which surface coincides with the finish shape of said insulator 2. Then, a spacer 7 composed of said iron plate is insert ed into a space surrounded by the patch 4 and the surface of said insulator 2 in the butting part of said patch 4. Said parts are hot set while they are fastened by a spring 9 via a jig 8. Thus, an insulating tape is neither broken nor wrinkled and any part where an impregnated resin is accumulated is not generated in the insulator 2 right above the rectangular part of said conductor to enable improving the dielectric strength of an insulated coil.
