Abstract

PURPOSE: To sufficiently recover a refrigerant by constituting a refrigerant circuit for by-passing a condensing pressure control valve by arranging a solenoid valve in parallel with the control valve. CONSTITUTION: When a water cooling and warming machine is operated normally, a refrigerant coming out of a compressor 1 is liquefied under a high pressure by means of an air-cooled condenser 2, supplied to a receiver 4 through a condensing pressure control valve 3, depressurized by means of an expansion valve 6 through a solenoid valve 5 for liquid, and returned to the compressor 1 after the refrigerant is gasified under a low pressure by means of a water cooler 7. While the machine is operated, a by-pass solenoid valve 9 is closed and the condensing pressure of the condenser 2 is maintained at a fixed value by adjusting the quantity of the refrigerant in the condenser 2 by opening and closing the control valve 3 at about a set pressure. In addition, a by-pass valve 8 for gas works to maintain the pressure in the receiver 4 at a constant level by by-passing a gas from the compressor 1 side when the pressure of the receiver 4 becomes lower than a prescribed value. At the time of shifting the operation of the machine to refrigerant recovering operation, the whole quantity of the refrigerant can be recovered to the receiver 3 and the pipeline around the receiver 4 when the operation of the machine is continued by closing the solenoid valve 5 for liquid and opening the by-pass solenoid valve 9.
