Abstract

PURPOSE:To manufacture the titled alloy parts only by a HIP treatment, by subjecting gamma' deposition type Ni-based alloy powder having specific compsn. and grain size to the degas treatment, HIP treatment and solution heat treatment under specific conditions. CONSTITUTION:The powder of the gamma' deposition type Ni-based alloy having the componental compsn. consisting of <=0.3% C, <=20% Cr, <=10% Mo, <=20% W, <=20% Co, <=10% Nb+Ta, <=10% Ti, <=10% Al, <=2% Fe, <=0.2% B, <=0.2% Zr, <=2% Hf and the balance consisting essentially of >=40% Ni and having >=70mum grain size is prepd. Said alloy powder is subjected to a degas treatment in a vacuum of >=10<-4>Torr and under the temp. of >=400 deg.C. The powder is then subjected to a HIP treatment to regulate the oxygen concentration involved in the alloy is regulated to <=80ppm. Said alloy powder is successively subjected to a solution heat treatment between the maximum temp. at the time of the HIP treatment and the temp. lower than that as 30 deg.C. By this method, the fatigue characteristics of the Ni-based alloy parts can be improved without executing isothermal forging, etc., thereto.
