Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a return pin unnecessary and at the same time realize the easy exchange of cassette by a method wherein an engaging part, which detachably engages with the ejector plate and the ejector rod of a cassette type mold assembly in order to let the ejector plate to interlock the movement of the ejector rod, is provided. CONSTITUTION:An ejector plate 33 interlocks the forward and backward movements of an ejector rod through the engagement of a hook-like engaging body 42 provided on the ejector plate 33 with a hook-like engaging groove 45 formed on the ejector rod 44, resulting in eliminating the use of a return pin to retreat the ejector plate 33. When the exchange of cassette is intended, screws to fix a cassette 19 to a supporting plate 15 are disengaged and, after that, the tip of the ejector rod 44 is advanced so afar as to protrude in the mounting hole 18 of a movable mold 14 so as to disengage the cassette 19 by shifting it rightwards as indicated with the arrow in order to dismount the cassette.
