Abstract

PURPOSE:To take out a magnetic resonance signal from the appropriate imaging region of a newborn, by separating a lying-in-bed part from an air controller to arrange the same in the stand dome of a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus MRI and making a magnetic resonance signal detecting coil movable along the lying-in-bed part. CONSTITUTION:A lying-in-bed part 1 made of an acrylic resin and an air controller 2 regulating temp. or air feed quantity are separated through a non-metallic duct hose 3 made of synthetic rubber or resin and a high sensitivity detection coil 4 for detecting a magnetic resonance signal is mounted on the lying-in-bed part 1 in a movable manner along the longitudinal direction. A diffusion blow- out mechanism 5 for uniformizing the air fed from the air controller 2 is formed to the connection part of the lying-in-bed part 1 and the duct hose 3 and fed air is uniformly dispersed to be supplied to the lying-in-bed part 1. After a newborn is received in the lying-in-bed part 1, an incubator is arranged in the stand dome of an MRI apparatus to take the photograph of the newborn.
