Abstract

PURPOSE:To secure a good heat resistance and insulation in a simple structure by providing a fireproofing layer of oxinitride glass fibers enclosing a conductor, and a coating layer outside the fireproofing layer. CONSTITUTION:Around a conductor 3 is wound a glass cloth consisting of oxinitride glass fibers for a fireproofing layer 4. Then around this fireproofing layer 4 is provided a coating layer 6 consisting of vinyl chloride. A good fire resistance and insulation can thus be achieved without providing an insulating layer, thereby a good fireproof wire can be obtained in a simple structure.
