Abstract
PURPOSE:To accurately diagnose the cause of abnormality of the gear device by providing the gear device, a saw-tooth wave generating circuit, an input device, etc. CONSTITUTION:The saw-tooth wave generating circuit 2 generates a saw-tooth wave, which is processed by Fourier transform through a frequency analyzing circuit 26a to calculate the frequency component of the saw-tooth wave. Namely, the absolute values of components which are integral multiples of the frequency fr of the saw-tooth wave processed by the Fourier transform based upon the rotational frequency fr of one gear are obtained and regarded as 1 and others as 0; and those are multiplied by the frequency spectrum of the vibration of the gear device 2. Then only the components which are integral multiples of the frequency fr are extracted and displayed 36 while other components corresponding to noises are eliminated. Further, an input device 28 varies the value of the frequency fr to select a gear to be diagnosed. Thus, the device 2 is easily analyzed with high accuracy.
