Abstract

PURPOSE:To promptly restrain vibration of a shaft by interposing a gel substance in a part of a gap between a shaft mounting body and an inertia body including a rolling bearing portion in a step motor. CONSTITUTION:A gel substance 5 is charged in a gap between a shaft mounting body 1 and an inertia body 3 in such a manner as to fill up a gap with a ball 23 as a rolling element. The abaft mounting body 1 and the inertia body 3 are connected to each other to restrict interacting rotary motion thereof by the gel substance 5. The oscillatory wave generated in a shaft 7 is absorbed by deformation of the gel substance 5 resulting from the interacting motion of the shaft mounting body 1 and the inertia body 3. Thus, the vibration of the shaft can be restrained promptly.
