Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve controllability in a tire having a side wall portion formed of at least two rubber layers by forming each rubber layer having a specified dynamic elastic modulus related to a predetermined thickness. CONSTITUTION:A tire side portion is formed of an inner layer 3 of side wall close to a carcass layer 4 and an outer layer 2 of side wall formed on said inner layer 3. The outer layer 2 is a rubber layer having 1.0X10<7>-4.3X10<7>dyne/ cm<2> of dynamic elastic modulus. Also, the inner layer 3 is a rubber layer having 5.0X10<7>-8.0X10<7>dyne/cm<2> of dynamic modulus. The average thickness of inner layer 3 is at least 1mm, and the ratio of the average thickness of inner layer 3 to that of the whole rubber layer of side wall portion in the maximum width position of tire is set to 70% or less. Thus, the controllability of tire is improved without impairing the anticrack property or the like of side wall portion.
