Abstract
PURPOSE:To restrict the change of the water level of a nuclear reactor and accordingly reduce an operator's burden, by controlling the opening degree of a turbine bypass valve on the basis of a set value of a bypass valve opening jack being determined based on a prearranged pulse signal. CONSTITUTION:A pulse signal S24 is intermittently outputted at a predetermined time interval from pulse oscillating device 24 of an output of a process calculator 22A to a setting means 31 of a bypass valve opening jack. On the other hand, a pressure setting device 25 is operated at a rated pressure. When the pressure control is started in the state that a bypass valve 11 is fully closed, since a pressure setting signal S25 of the pressure setting device 25 is equal to a pressure detecting signal S19, a signal S28 becomes negative by the value of a bias signal S29, and therefore the setting means 31 is always selected in a high value selecting circuit 30. Further, when the pressure reduction control is to be carried out by the operation of the setting means 31, the water temperature in the reactor at the start of the control is sampled so as to calculate a future temperature descent curve by using a set temperature descent rate. The descent curve is stored. The calculator 22A outputs a pulse signal of a small driving amount in order to approach the target pressure, so that the control of the pressure reduction is conducted with the signal S19 as reference.
