Abstract
PURPOSE:To form an offsetting antenna which is inexpensive and satisfactory in a characteristic by making the outer circumferential shape of a radome into a circle, constituting the inner surface shape of a side plate of the envelope body of a conical body with the outer circumference of a reflecting mirror as a conductor and with respective points on the outer circumference of the radome as a top and including a primary radiator in the envelope body, namely, in the side plate. CONSTITUTION:The shape of an envelope body is univocally specified to a reflecting mirror 1 when the radius of a radome 10 and the relative position of the reflecting mirror 1 and the radome 10 are specified. An electric wave radiated from a primary radiator 2 to the reflecting mirror 1 propagates a transmission line 7 and forms a sharp beam in the front direction of an antenna. The circular cone formed by the electric wave is included in a side plate 9, a hole to exist at a device conventionally and an edge due to the hole are not necessary, and the side plate 9 does not part or block the transmission line 7. In short, the edge of the deterioration factor of an electric characteristic is the inevitable edge as an antenna, namely, only the outer circumference of the reflecting mirror 1, and the side lobe deterioration due to the wave conduct of an electric wave becomes a minimum one.
