Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a flammable gas in reduced facilities and saved energy and quickly cope with change of load and enable start-up at short time, by separating and concentrating a flammable gas such as methane gas from a reformed gas by pressure changing absorption. CONSTITUTION:Reformed gas containing methane gas and CO2 gas as main components and obtained using naphtha, LPG and methanol, etc., as raw materials is passed into >=2 (preferably 3) absorbing towers 2 packing molecular sieves having 30-70ml/g CO2 absorption amount at 25 deg.C and 1atm. for 10min and methane gas absorption amount of <=1/20 of the above-mentioned CO2 absorption amount.
