Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a microlens having flexibility by constituting said lens of a photopolymerizable compsn. which contains a photopolymerizable monomer and photopolymn. initiator and is gradually changed in thickness. CONSTITUTION:A film forming resin is incorporated into a mixture composed of the photopolymerizable monomer and the photopolymn. initiator and the light transmitted through a contact screen is projected on the photopolymerizable compsn. to cure said compsn. or to change the properties thereof. Namely, the contact screen 3 is brought into tight contact with the surface of the photpolymerizable sheet 4 sandwiched between PET films 2 and the light is projected on the layer of the photopolymerizable compsn. 1 from the contact screen 3 side. The cured parts and the uncured parts are then produced in the layer and, therefore, such layer is developed and rinsed, by which the colorless and transparent microlens is obtd. The microlens is thereby made to a panel shape of any sizes and since said lend has the flexibility, the lens is capable of dealing with any shapes and the formation thereof is facilitated.
