Abstract

PURPOSE:To lower the probability of interference and to attain efficient spatial reuse of frequency by varying the threshold value depending whether the interference is caused or not during communication. CONSTITUTION:When a transmission request arrives, a synthesizer is set to a channel having the highest priority to attain carrier sense. When the reception signal level is the threshold value T(K) or over, it is decided that the channel is in use, the channel of the 2nd priority is set and the same operation is repeated. When the reception signal level is T(K) or below, it is decided that the channel is idle to start communication. In this case, the priority between channels is varied by using the information whether or not the channel is busy. Thus, base stations located within a distance causing interference use different channels, and the interference is observed in order from a channel having a higher probability in the idle state and a lower probability of causing interference.
