Abstract

PURPOSE:To attach a longitudinal electronic part in a lateral pattern with good stability, by including a step, by which the tip parts of lead terminals are connected to corresponding pin terminals for the electronic part at right angles with solder, and by including a step, by which a linking part is cut from a lead frame. CONSTITUTION:The tip parts of lead terminals 8a-8d of a lead frame 8 are connected to corresponding pin terminals 3a-3c of a relay 1 at right angles with solders 12, 12.... Then, a linking part 8e is cut away from the lead frame 8, which is connected to the relay 1. Thus the four lead terminals 8a-8d are separated. Then, the relay 1 is supplied directly over a printed board 7 in a lateral attitude so that the lead terminals 8a-8d are directed downward. The lower end parts of the lead terminals 8a-8d, which are made thin, are inserted into corresponding through holes 13, 13... in the printed board 7. Thus, the positioning accuracy of the electronic part 1 on the printed board becomes excellent.
