Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain high reliability and high output by integrating two heat release bodies in an electrically insulated state with a heat release body contacted to both main surfaces of a plate-state positive characteristic thermistor element respectively, and with flange parts formed on the periphery part of two opposite heat release bodies engaged. CONSTITUTION:Engagement materials 10 and 11 are engaged with flange parts B, D and A, C respectively by inserting the members 10 and 11 from the end surface part with heat release plates 1 and 3 opposed, are integrated in the state where the plates 1 and 3 are electrically insulated, and a positive characteristic thermistor element is built in the inside space. An element temperature contributing to heat transfer rises entirely with the heat capacity of a whole heat release body increasing caused by the formation of a flange part as a heat release body on the side surface part, and the peak of the exothermic temperature of the element arises at the middle vicinity with the width of the peak narrow because cold wind not directly touches to the element, and thereby the exothermic effectiveness of the whole element is improved. Furthermore, the cross section in the longitudinal direction is enlarged, the heat from the element can be conductible to heat release fins other than direct upper or lower direction ones, temperature distribution is uniformed, and thereby heat release effectiveness can be improved.
