Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve reliability by directly feeding back the change of characteristic of an I<2>L element due to secular change to an injector current to automatically compensate the degradation in current amplification factor of the I<2>L element with respect to a varying means of the injector current. CONSTITUTION:Transistors TRs Q1 and Q2 and TRs Q4 and Q5 constitute current mirror circuits, and the bias of a TR Q3 is determined by diodes D1 and D2 and a resistance R1. Since a grounded base current amplification factor alphaP of the pnp TR Q3 having the same structure as the lateral pnp TR part of an I<2>L element circuit 6 is 0.5, the emitter area of the TR Q1 is set to a value twice as large as that of the TR Q2 to approximately equalize a current IE of the TR Q3 to a current I0 from a constant current circuit 1. The current IE of the TR Q3 is increased or decreased by amplifying circuit 5 in accordance with the number of elements of the I<2>L circuit 6 to be controlled. The pnp TR is connected in parallel to the TR Q5 for current mirror to constitute the current amplifying circuit 5 keeping a certain degree (n) of amplification independently of the current level, and the constant current circuit which is controlled by the current amplification factor of the TR Q3 is provided. Thus, a high- reliability circuit is formed.
