Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent a read error and to accurately read out data by recording a clock run signal for following a PLL and an index signal in an interval from a postamble block over a to a video signal recording area. CONSTITUTION:The clock run signal for following the PLL and the index signal are recorded in the area from the postable block 241 prepositional to an index block 242 in a magnetic track 2 formed to be recorded diagonally on a magnetic tape over to the beginning side of a recording area part of an information signal of the magnetic track 2. Consequently, a block to be recorded with the clock run signal is drastically extended, and the following property upon clock reproducing data to be formed by the PLL can drastically be improved. By this method, a read error of data is prevented, and various kinds of data can accurately be read out.
