Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition, containing a modified silicone polymer, curing catalyst, epoxy resin and epoxy based reactive diluent at a specific ratio and sufficiently curable even on a wet surface and thoroughly bonding to ground with hardly any deterioration in elongation with time at low temperatures. CONSTITUTION:The aimed composition, obtained by blending (A) 100pts.wt. modified silicone polymer having <=9,500cP viscosity at 25 deg.C measured by using a single-cylinder rotational viscometer (No.4 rotor, at 6r.p.m.), (B) 0.01-10pts.wt. curing catalyst for the component (A), (C) 40-100pts.wt. epoxy resin, (D) 0-50pts.wt. epoxy based reactive diluent, (E) a curing agent in an amount so as to correspond to epoxy equiv. of the blend of the components (C) with (D) and (F) 0-50pts.wt. unreactive diluent and having 300-1,000cP viscosity at 25 deg.C measured by the viscometer.
