Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an agitation tank, wherein materials coarsely crushed with spiral rod blades are further finely crushed, by forming the bottom part of a tank, wherein spiral rod blades rotating around two vertical shafts are arranged, into a conical shape and by arranging a special crushing chamber beneath that conical part. CONSTITUTION:A crushing chamber 5, wherein a screw blade 4 and more than one plate cutters 6 are fixed to a same rotating shaft, is arranged beneath the conically shaped bottom part of an agitation tank 2, wherein spiral rod blades 1 are arranged so as to rotate around two vertical shafts. Materials in liquid phase are first agitated by rotating both the spiral rod blades 1 and the screw blade 4 in directions of upward stirring. After the solid materials are coarsely crushed by the spiral rod blades 1, the rotating direction of the screw blade 4 is reversed. As a result of this operation, large particles are further crushed between the spiral blades 1 and the screw blade 4, sent to the crushing chamber 5, wherein they are finely crushed by a high speed rotation of the cutter plates 6, and discharged out of an outlet 7.
