Abstract

PURPOSE:To ensure a sufficient gain even for a small sized and thin profile radio equipment by using part of a display part as a major component of the small sized radio equipment. CONSTITUTION:The titled antenna consists of a feeder 3, a ground plate 2, a reflecting plate 8, a conductor plate 7 and a short-circuit plate 6 to form an inverse-F shaped modified antenna. The feeder 3 is connected to a receiver circuit of a circuit board 4 from the reflecting plate 8. The antenna part and the circuit system of the receiver are shielded by the ground plate 2 and the LCD 1 has a structure adhered closely to the rear face of the reflecting plate 8 when viewed from the antenna, then the electromagnetic effect is less. Thus, since the short-circuit plate 6 is designed to provide a reactance to compensate the capacitive component by the conductor plate 7 for the purpose of decreasing the resonance frequency of the antenna, although the width of the plate 6 is made thinner than the width of the conductor plate 7, the LCD connection part 5 connects the LCD 1 and the circuit board 4 along the short-circuit plate 6, then the effect of the LCD connection 5 given onto the characteristic of the antenna is less.
