Abstract

CONSTITUTION:An angle detector 1 is constituted of the flange 6 integrally provided to a rotary shaft 2 so as to provide a definite displacement angle thetawith respect to the axial line 3 of the rotary shaft 2 and the non-contact sensor 4 fixed in the vicinity of the flange 6. When the rotary shaft 2 is rotated, the flange integrally fixed to the rotary shaft 2 also rotates and, by this rotation, the flange surface at a definite position, that is, the surface irradiated with laser beam moves before and behind. The displacement thereof is measured to make it possible to determine the angular displacement of the rotary shaft.
