Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve compression performance as well as to prevent seizure and wear by letting each member be made of aluminum alloys, providing a thin sheet made of iron while being stretched for the inner slide contacting surface of a side plate, and forming a plating layer on the other slide contacting surfaces. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder block 1, a vane 8 and a rotor 4 are made of aluminum alloys wherein the difference of thermal expansion coefficient among respective alloys is less than 3X10<-6>/ deg.C, and the main body of slide plates 2a and 2b is made of an aluminum alloy so as to form a thin sheet made of iron on the side thereof while being stretched for providing a plating layer mainly consisting of iron or nickel for the other slide contacting surfaces. This constitution improves compression performance so as to prevent seizure among the side plates 2a and 2b, the rotor 4 and the vane 8 concurrently for preventing the other slide contacting surfaces from being worn as well.
