Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve convergence to a target airfuel ratio, by a method wherein, by means of a deviation from a target value of an air-fuel ratio detected bp an O2 sensor and a differential value, an air-fuel ratio feedback correction factor is set. CONSTITUTION:Detecting values from an airflow meter 13, a crank angle sensor 14, a water temperature sensor 15, and an O2 sensor 16 are inputted to a control unit 12, and an opening time of a fuel injection valve 6 is computed and controlled. The control unit 12 calculates a deviation between an air-fuel ratio detected by the O2 sensor 16 and a target air-fuel ratio responding to the number of revolutions and a fundamental fuel injection amount and a differential value (a change amount per a unit time) of the detected air-fuel ratio, and steppedly converts the calculating results. Based on the stepped value, an air-fuel ratio feedback correction factor is read from a memory map and set.
