Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the colors of an object to be observed distinct by disposing a color correction filter which attenuates transmittivity on a long wavelength side in the optical path of an illumination system or an observation system. CONSTITUTION:Light emitted from a lamp 116 is radiated on the observed object 114 from the outgoing end of a light guide 115 through a diaphragm 117 to be reflected. The reflected image light is formed into an image on the input end of an image guide 1 by an objective lens 113, and moreover it is projected from the output end of the guide 1. A transparent member 3 is disposed in parallel with the outgoing end of the guide 1 and coating is applied on the surface of the member 3 to form a film. The constitution of the film is four layers obtained by superposing TiO2 on SiO2 from the top alternately and the film has the function of the color correction filter. If the film is applied in the illumination system, it is used to correct the colors there. Thus, the image with distinct colors can be observed with the naked eye 112 through an eyepiece lens 4.
