Abstract

PURPOSE:To uniformly and efficiently coat panel edge parts with sealing material by adequately mounting a nozzle for applying sealant on an operating body which abuts against the outside of the angle part ranging from the outside face of the panel to the base of the edge part. CONSTITUTION:The sliding guide face 11 of the operating body 1 is fitted and abutted from the exterior to the outside part of the angle in the inwardly bending edge part 30 of the panel in the state where the nozzle is retreated against the energizing force of a spring 10. This nozzle 6 is advanced by the energizing force of the spring 10 and is pressed to the end margin of the edge part 30. The sealing material is supplied in this state to the nozzle 6 through pipings 18, 19 and the operating body 1 is moved along the edge part 30 manually or by a manipulator to coat the edge part with the sealing material discharged from the nozzle 6.
