Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the stability and reproducibility of high-temperature superconductors, by changing the ratios of plural isotopes in the material for a superconductor from those in nature. CONSTITUTION:When a plurality of isotopes are included in the production of high-temperature superconductor, and a material with isotope ratios deviating from those in nature is used, such ranges are adopted for selection of the material. Even in the same crystal structures, the superconductive critical point sometimes differs. Further, the heat and radiation oftentimes causes substitution, resulting in the alteration of electron orbits. The phenomena make a high- temperature superconductor unstable with reproducibility lowered. When the substance constituting a superconductor include isotopes, only one kind of the isotope is used to facilitate the maintenance of the distances and synchronization of orbital electrons. Further, instability is reduced, reproducibility is increased, and such selection gives excellent superconductors.
