Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a stable voltage control by correcting the phase control angle of an exciter in response to the frequency increase of a generator. CONSTITUTION:The terminal voltage of a generator 1 is supplied through a transformer 2 and a filter 11 to phase controllers 12A-12C. The controllers 12A-12C obtain as charging voltages of capacitors 13A-13C sawtooth wave signals synchronized with phase sine wave signals from a filter 11, compare the signals with a voltage command to control the phase control angle of a thyristor rectifier 4. On the other hand, a frequency/voltage converter 15 varies the slope of the charging voltages of the capacitors 13A-13C in response to the output frequency of the generator 1. Thus, a stable voltage control can be obtained.
