Abstract
PURPOSE:To make a structure simple, and to decrease cost, by providing a stirring blade as well as to fit one, at least, of a heater and a cooler in a hollow and cylindrical casing of which top and bottom are open, and through which a fluid can flow. CONSTITUTION:A heater can be used standing by itself in a water tank, by positioning a heater casing 20 at a specified height under the water, and by projecting an upper casing 21 and a motor 29 above the water. When the motor 29 is started to rotate a stirring blade 32, as well as to turn a heater 25 ON, the water in a tank is sucked into a casing 20 from its bottom, flowing upward through the casing 20, discharged from its top. By this operation, the water in the tank is stirred, and is heated by the heater 25 during passing through the casing 20. In such a manner the difference in temperature between the upper part and the lower part of water in the tank is eliminated, and a uniform temperature distribution can be obtained. The output of a heater 25 is controlled by a controller. This heater unit (A) can be used in a bathtub by only standing it by itself, besides it can be carried easily.
