Abstract

PURPOSE:To correctly measure a multipath, by obtaining the value of a frequency versus an amplitude directly by using a spectrum analyzer with a maximum value holding function. CONSTITUTION:An FM broadcast wave with a direct wave and a reflected wave is received by an antenna 10, and frequency components corresponding to many received frequencies within an FM broadcast wave band are extracted by the narrow band amplifier 20 of a variable tuning frequency, and the amplitude is detected by an amplitude detector 40. A data recording and operating part 50 includes the maximum value holding function to record the amplitude data which corresponds to the respective tuning frequencies transmitted from the variable tuning frequency narrow band amplifier 20 and is transmitted from the amplitude detector 40, and to update and store the maximum value at every tuning frequency, and obtains a multipath parameter. Thus, by providing previously the narrow band amplifier having many different tuning frequencies and the amplitude detector for those, data collecting time can be shortened.
