Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the title copolymer which is excellent in oxygen permeability, water swellability and contamination resistance, by copolymerizing a specified fluorinated bifunctional (meth)acrylate monomer and a specified polyfunctional (meth)acrylate monomer which is at least trifunctional. CONSTITUTION:10-99wt.% fluorinated bifunctional (meth)acrylate monomer A, wherein at least one 1-30C fluorine-substd. hydrocarbon group to which at least three F atoms. are bonded is grafted onto the C atom. of the alkylene group in the main chain of a bifunctional (meth)acrylate monomer of the formula as shown (where R<1> is H or methyl; R<2> is H or lower alkyl; k has an average value of 10,000-20,000) per molecule of said monomer and 1-90wt.% fluorinated polyfunctional (meth)acrylate monomer which is at least trifunctional, B, wherein at least one 1-30C fluorine-substd. hydrocarbon group to which at least three F atoms. are bonded is grafted onto the C atom. of the alkylene group in the main chain of an at least trifunctional (meth)acrylate monomer consisting of a poly(meth)acrylate of a polyoxyalkylene glycol having a branched structure per molecule of said monomer are copolymerized in a polymn. mold.
