Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve machining quality and productivity by retrieving a proper machining condition from a machining hysteresis memory device to give a machining command and correcting a finishing condition and a course program based on a measured machining accuracy data. CONSTITUTION:The machining of a wire-cut electric discharge machine 1 is started under a machining condition specified by an automatic machining condition selecting device 3 and, while machining, a machining control device 15 controls the machining condition and a feeding speed as necessary by calling information from a course program analysis device 13 and information in the past from a machining hysteresis memory device 11, in addition to information on the condition of machining from a monitor device 7. And, this machining condition is housed in the machining hysteresis memory device 11 while considering the condition of machining. And, as the machining is completed, the measured result from a machining accuracy measuring device 9 is sent to an automatic finishing condition setting device 17 to provide information for selecting the next machining condition and course program. Thus, the setting of the machining condition and machining control can be automatically carried out improving the machining accuracy and productivity.
