CONSTITUTION:A current reversible chopper is used for a battery power storage system and is constituted of a battery 1, a DC reactor 21, chopper sections 22A-22B, diodes 23A-23B, a smoothing capacitor 24 and the like. Each of choppers CH1-CH2 is driven with ON and OFF at the output of the pulse amplifiers 13A and 13B by using a pulse generation circuit consisting of a phase shifter 11, a pulse dirstributor 12 and pulse amplifiers 13A and 13B. At this time, the comparators 14A-14B and the AND gaters 15A-15B are added to the pulse generation circuit, and a detector 6 to detect the low voltage side DC Io is added to the main circuit side. Accordingly, all the current reversible chopper can be operated in a whole operation area.
