Abstract
PURPOSE:To accurately judge the displacement amount between the converging point of an ultrasonic wave and the position of a calculus, by providing a means for generating an ultrasonic pulse from a transducer and confirming the presence of the calculus from the echo signal thereof and a means for collecting the respiratory waveform of a living body to measure a respiratory period. CONSTITUTION:When a crushing pulse generating circuit 10 is started, a crushing start pulse is generated to be inputted to a calculus confirming drive circuit 11 to send a pulse signal of small amplitude and a concave vibrator 5 transmits an extremely weak ultrasonic pulse toward a living body. The ultrasonic pulse impinges on each tissue of the living body to be reflected and becomes an ultrasonic echo to be received while said echo is converted to an echo signal to be received by a receiving circuit 12 and only an echo signal from the vicinity of a converging point is detected to be sent to a calculus confirming circuit 13 and the presence of a calculus is judged. When it is judged that there exists no calculus, said echo signal is inputted to a position shift judge circuit 8 and positional shift is judged from the presence data of the calculus sent from the calculus confirming circuit 13 and the respiratory period of a patient sent from a respiratory period detection circuit 7. Therefore, the positional displacement amount between the calculus and the converging point of an ultrasonic wave can be judged accurately.
