PURPOSE:To enable removing the cotton dust adhered to yarn end, by providing a yarn end cutter with a cotton dust removing plate so as to be capable of switchover between actuating and nonactuating positions. CONSTITUTION:A yarn end cutter 9 for cutting the terminal yarns leading to a doffed full-wound bobbin and a spindle 3 is provided with a cotton dust removing plate 15 so as to capable of reciprocation. By traveling of the cutter 9, the plate 15 which had retreated at the non-actuating position advances to the actuating position, and the terminal yarn 6 rotating as the cutter 9 advance is struck on the plate 15, the cotton dust 100 adhered to said yarn 6 being them removed through this shock.
