Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the overdischarge leaving performance and the self- discharge property by including an alkaline earth ion in the electrolyte, and providing a positive electrode plate which is made by forming an electrode plate using a Pb-Ca-Sn alloy in a grid body, and then soaking it in a dilute sulfuric acid. CONSTITUTION:In order to prevent to form a high resistance membrane resulting from the production and the growth of PbSO4 and the production of PbOx making the charging impossible, during an overdischarge leaving, an electrode plate which is made by adding Sn to a Pb-Ca alloy is used.
