Abstract

PURPOSE:To restrain a difference in braking force between right and left wheels by throttling braking pressure liquid on the high mu road surface side when a control portion on the low mu road surface side starts to control in case of braking right and left wheels while the right and left wheels run on road surfaces having abnormally different coefficients of friction. CONSTITUTION:The above device has the first and second control portions comprising solenoid valves 56A, 56B and cut valve-piston portions 57A, 57B, which are adapted to control brake fluid pressure according to output of sensors 31, 32 for detecting the rotational frequencies of a right front wheel and a left front wheel to prevent skid of wheels in brake fluid pressure circuits B1, B2 connecting the wheel cylinders 21, 22 of the right front wheel and the left front wheel. In this case, a fluid pressure control valve 60 is interposed in a fluid pressure circuit between a master cylinder 12 in the brake fluid pressure circuit and a junction P of the brake fluid pressure circuits B1, B2. The fluid pressure control valve 60 is operated when either the first or second control portion starts controlling to throttle a passage.
