Abstract

PURPOSE:To make improvements in service life, transmission efficiency and reliability in a belt and a bearing by constituting the initial tension and position of the belt so as to be adjustable in a way of varying an axial relative position of one side to the other side of a bolt part and a nut part. CONSTITUTION:Each belt tension-position adjusting mechanism 39 is installed in ball screw devices 35, 36 at both sides of a primary pulley 31 and a secondary pulley 32 and, after assembling, looseness, unnecessary tensile force and misalignment due to lost motion and dimensional errors in each part of these ball screw devices 35, 36, etc., are eliminated. Accordingly, belt tension and its position are always optimized, so that service life, transmission efficiency and reliability in the belt 33, bearings 1, 5a-5c and thrust bearings 3a-3d are improvable. In addition, the belt tension-position adjusting mechanism 39 can be simplified in structure if utilizing retainers 4, 8 supporting the ball screw devices 35, 36.
