Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable both high dust holding capacity and long service life by arranging an electrode in which band-shaped conductive parts are provided on the surface of a filter medium so that the high-voltage electrodes and grounded electrodes are alternately provided when looking through the electrode from the direction vertical to the surface of the filter medium. CONSTITUTION:An electrode is formed by providing linear or band-shaped conductive parts 2 on the surface of a filter medium 1. The electrode is arranged so that high-voltage electrodes 2B and grounded electrodes 2A or an anode and a cathode are alternately provided when looking through the electrode from the direction vertical to the surface of the filter medium 1. As a result, a charging type filter which is excellent in collection efficiency and long in service life and excellent in workability and maintainability is obtained.
