Abstract

PURPOSE:To form a high brightness screen by connecting S-shaped capacitors splittingly to each of red, blue and green horizontal yokes of a video projector using three red, blue, green projection type cathode ray tubes so as to constitute the red deflection yoke and the blue deflection yoke as closed loops and causing a DC current to flow thereto thereby relieving the load. CONSTITUTION:The S-shaped capacitor is split respectively for red, blue, green yokes so as to cause a DC current I to flow to them while the red horizontal deflection yoke 21, the blue horizontal deflection yoke 23 and a DC power supply 28 are used as a closed loop. Thus, the center of the red, blue rasters 31, 33 is moved from the center of the screen of the CRT tube toward the side reduced in the horizontal direction simply. The moving quantity is varied simply by the value of a resistor 29 inserted in series with the DC power supply 28. Moreover, the DC power supply 28 is obtained by giving a +B flowing current of a horizontal output transistor 27 to a transformer and rectifying the secondary voltage. Thus, the raster size is more increased, the load per unit area of the fluorescent screen is relieved to obtain a high brightness screen.
