Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent temperature in a thawing chamber from being raised and sharply shorten freezing time by providing a far infrared heater on an upper surface of the thawing chamber and a heater on a bottom surface, and further providing a motor driven fan on a wall side opposing to an inlet of the thawing chamber. CONSTITUTION: There are provided a far infrared heater 16 on an upper part of a thawing chamber 4, a heater 18 on a bottom surface, and a fan 23 opposing to an inlet of the thawing chamber 4. Hereby, a frozen food 19 is heated with heat radiation and heat conduction and with convection heat transfer with the motor driven fan 21, from an upper surface and a lower surface of the food. Since the food is radiated from an upper portion by the far infrared heater 16, the food is heated from the interior thereof and is thawed from the neighbourhood of the center thereof to the upper portion of the same. For heating with the heater 18 there is heated and thawed a bottom part of the frozen food 19 tat is not enough heated with the far infrared heater 16. Further, thawing from a side is promoted with the motor driven fan 21 to reduce uneven temperature. Since air in the thawing chamber 4 returns through a cold return hole 24, the thawing chamber 4 is prevented from being raised in temperature.
