Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the treatment efficiency of sludge by executing all of the dehydration treatments of the deposited mud dredged from a water bottom on a base ship, using the filtered water of a site water area for the clean water required for the sludge treatments and returning the water generated at the time of dehydration to the site water area. CONSTITUTION:All the deposits dredged from the water bottom are treated on the base ship 200. The deposits dredged by a dredger 100 is a dredging stage A are first subjected to removal of dust, etc., in a scum removing stage B and the mud and water are sent to a sand separating stage C. The mud and water are charged to a coarse meshed screen 7. The mud and water past and screen are sent to a cyclone 10 and further, the sand component is removed by a fine meshed screen 6. The suspended matter of the mud and water are sent to a dehydrating stage D. The filrate obtd. after the filtration of the water at the dredging site and the flocculating agent dissolved water prepd. from a flocculating agent in a flocculating agent supplying part D1 as well as the suspended matter mentioned above are mixed in a pretreatment part D2 by which the flocs of the mud are formed. The flocks are sent to a dehydrating stage D2 and are dehydrated by a dehydrator 27. The filter cloth of the dehydrator 27 is washed. The water after the washing is released together with the water dehydrated in the dehydrator 27 to the site water area.
