Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the dehumidification device which is allowed to dehumidify even in low pressure difference and is capable of indoor installation because of no leakage and no splashing of moisture absorbing liquid by providing moisture absorbing and discharging units consisting of permeable membranes permeating moisture which prevent air from bringing into direct contact with the absorbing liquid. CONSTITUTION:The moisture absorbing liquid 1, such as lithium chloride, cooled by a cooling coil 3 in a tank 2 is supplied through a pipe 5 to the moisture absorbing units 7 in a absorber 101 installed indoors. In the moisture absorbing units 7, the moisture in the indoor air sent by fans 11 is dehumidified by the moisture absorbing liquid 1 through permeable membranes 8, such as macromolecular membrane of polyester. The moisture absorbing liquid 1 having absorbed the moisture is returned to the tank 2 through a pipe 10, and a part of the liquid is sent to the moisture discharging unit 15 of a regenerator 102 through a throttle valve 11, a heat exchanger 12 and a heater 14. The absorbing liquid having discharged the moisture at the moisture discharging unit 15 is returned to the tank 2 through a pipe 16 and the heat exchanger 12.
