Abstract

PURPOSE:To stabilize sliding characteristic for long term and to improve grease holding performance by applying unmolding agent onto an outer shaft, then fitting an inner shaft having outer circumferential groove therein, thereafter heating them preliminarily and forming a resin layer in the gap between these shafts. CONSTITUTION:Splines 1a are formed in the inner circumference of an outer shaft 1, then unmolding agent such as silicon is applied onto the entire inner circumferential face of the outer shaft 1 and the outer circumferential face of an inner shaft 2 having splines 2a engagable with the splines 1a and circumferential grooves 2b. Then a bottom plug 4 is fitted in the outer shaft 1 and the inner shaft 2 is inserted, thereafter they are heated preliminarily in a high frequency induction heater. Then the inner shaft 2 is removed and monomer is injected into the outer shaft 1, thereafter the inner shaft 2 is inserted and temperature conditioned heating is carried out to finish polymerization. Consequently, stable sliding characteristic can be ensured for a long term and grease holding characteristic can be improved.
