Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the breakdown of a switching element by obtaining a voltage applied to one switching element through reversing a voltage applied to the other switching element. CONSTITUTION:If a DC power 1 is closed, a switching element 3 makes an ON-OFF action while a switching element 4 conducts an ON-OFF action with a phase opposite to that of said switching element 3 so that a voltage is generated in the primary winding N1 of an oscillating transformer 2 and a high frequency voltage induced in the secondary winding N2 is applied to a load 10 via a current-limiting impedance element 9. In this case, the alternate ON-OFF drive of the switching elements 3, 4 is performed, when a voltage induced in the feedback winding N3 of said oscillating transformer 2 is half-wave rectified by a rectifier circuit 11, rectangular-wave rectified by a waveform shaping circuit 12 and added to the switching element 3, and the output of the waveform shaping circuit 12 is reversed by a reverser 13 and added to the control electrode of the switching element 4. Thus, the alternate ON-OFF action of said switching elements 3, 4 is performed and no simultaneous ON-OFF action occurs to enable preventing the breakdown of the switching elements 3, 4.
