Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the homogeneous titled material having large critical current density, high critical temperature and narrow transition temperature range, by drying and calcining a mixture obtained by adding an inorganic salt of the residual element to gel product obtained by dissolving or dispersing at least part of one or more elements in specific three type elements as acetylacetonato in a solvent. CONSTITUTION:At least part of one or more elements in three type elements of (A) one or more elements selected from Mg, Ca, Sr and Ba among the group IIa elements of the periodic table, (B) one or more elements selected from Sc, Y and lanthanoids among the group IIIa elements and (C) Cu are homogeneously dissolved, dispersed or suspended as acetylacetonato in a solvent such as methanol and then >=0.1mol. alkali based on acetylacetonato is added thereto to hydrolyze the mixture liquid. Then a mixture obtained by adding an inorganic salt (e.g. YCl3, CaCO3 or CuSO4), hydroxide and/or oxide of the residual element to the resultant gel hydrolysis product is filtered, cleaned and dried and then calcined at 800-1,000 deg.C for >=2hr to provide the aimed oxide type superconducting material.
