Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify and ensure the mounting and dismounting of a tire non- skid tool by arranging many support rings at positions opposing the rim flange of a wheel outer side and axially supporting each anti-skid beam on the support rings in such a way as to be freely rotatable via each check mechanism. CONSTITUTION:An anti-skid tool for a tire has many support rings 1 at positions opposing the rim flange of a wheel W at the outer side of a vehicle. And each support ring 1 is axially supported with a shaft 3 fixed to the base part 2 of an anti-skid beam 2 formed with an L-shaped elastic material. Also, many anti-skid beams 2 are arranged at equal intervals radially toward a tire periphery and the forward end thereof is provided with an anti-skid part 2b in contact with a tire tread T. On the other hand, a ratchet tooth 5 is provided on the external surface of the shaft 3, a hooking claw 6 engaged with the tooth 5 is axially supported on a support ring 1, and a lever 7 for releasing the engagement is provided, thereby constituting the check mechanism of the non-skid beam 2.
